Still in Time: Italy
This is my latest video at the moment. I went to Epcot to finish the “I’m Back” video. While I was there a friend and I needed to kill sometime in the evening. I decided that we should shoot a time-lapse video. The original idea was to stand still for 16 minutes and have a high speed video of people walking around me. This backfired on me as I was wearing a suit and stood out like a sore thumb. This turned out better than I could have ever planned for. I stood still for 16 minutes while people poked me and tried to make me flinch. One guy even told his underage daughter to kiss me.(she didn’t actually do it) Another girl said she wanted to steal my glasses. All in all I had a great time and would like to do it again some place else. I hope you enjoy.

I love the video! What an awesome idea. It did crack me up, however, with all the people taking pictures with you. It’s funny how it started off slow, and by the end the crowd around you was huge! Social learning and ‘follow the leader’ social experiment at its best! Kudos!

The ending was great. Did your phone actually ring? What was the reaction like when you just walked off after being still for so long?

Andy, this is fabulous ! Who could have guessed that this would be so funny.? People will do anything to get in a picture, take a picture etc. The music is so appropriate, how did you ever find that song?

I set my timer on my phone to go off after 16 minutes. I played it off as a phone call. I think I scared the girl to my left when I started to move.

That was a pretty cool video, that’s for sharing

Can you re-submit the video with new audio? EMI blocks this in the U.S. due to copyright restrictions.

I think I cleared it up!
