Epcot in 5,151 Photos

Phew I am so happy to have this video finished and published. This video has been the most physically demanding project that I have worked on to date. Ski came to me with the great idea, “Why don’t we show the people a walk through the park. Instead of just walking we can do stop motion.” We toyed around with this idea back in the fall. We did a test run through Canada. Ski and I found out it was very difficult to deal with the tight spaces and turns in the gold mine behind the hotel.
This test film was from the waist up and we realized for the full effect it needed to be full image of me so it does not look like I am walking and you an see me slide along the sidewalk. Having completed a 300 photo test run in about an hour we realize that this would be a long project. I estimated it would take all day and be around 3,000 photographs. I was wrong on both counts. We moved quickly and completed the loop in 6 hours, and took just over 5,000 photographs and suffered minor sunburns. Check out the video.
