2011 Food and Wine Festival

So this year started off a little bit slow for me with work and school. HOWEVER, I went out to the Food and Wine Festival yesterday. I must say this year presented some new countries and a few favorites. I have completed the circuit between last year and this year as menu items rarely change and I skipped the booths I ate at last year.
One thing I don’t get is the logic Disney uses for the food booths of Morocco, Japan, Italy, and China. I would include France, but I like their menu items. Those countries are already there, and you can eat their food year round. Why not add Vietnam or Laos or other countries close to them geographically. I can eat Italian food any time. Nothing excited me about Italy. If I am going to pay a premium for lower portions I will just go to Macaroni Grille and enjoy a full meal for $10. Don’t get me wrong. I love the festival and what it represents I just don’t understand the logic behind the choices Disney makes for what countries will be represented. On the flip side. Poland was more closely located to Germany, do I get the sense that Germany will take over Poland next year? I filmed a review video that I should have up in a few days. You can look for it then. If you get a chance to make it out I recommend it. It is never the same year after year, and I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
