So this year started off a little bit slow for me with work and school. HOWEVER, I went out to the Food and Wine Festival yesterday. I must say this year presented some new countries and a few favorites. I have completed the circuit between last year and this year as menu items rarely change and I skipped the booths I ate at last year.
I got my hands on a kindle yesterday for the first time. I did not get to do a complete review but for the five minutes that I held it I was able to go online. Of course you know where I went first! Discover Epcot of course.
I am looking for people to do fun projects with. I want to involve my fans in more and more projects that I am working on. Some of these projects may include but are not limited to videos in the park, doing in park photo walk a bouts, audio recordings and online content, not to mention any other projects that may come up along the way. Please email me if you’d like to get involved Andy@DiscoverEpcot.com
This is my latest video at the moment. I went to Epcot to finish the “I’m Back” video. While I was there a friend and I needed to kill sometime in the evening. I decided that we should shoot a time-lapse video. The original idea was to stand still for 16 minutes and have a high speed video of people walking around me. This backfired on me as I was wearing a suit and stood out like a sore thumb. This turned out better than I could have ever planned for. I stood still for 16 minutes while people poked me and tried to make me flinch. One guy even told his underage daughter to kiss me.(she didn’t actually do it) Another girl said she wanted to steal my glasses. All in all I had a great time and would like to do it again some place else. I hope you enjoy.
I am back! I am uploading new photos and videos to Discover Epcot and the Discover Epcot Youtube Channel. I am very excited about the new programming that I have for you and the shows I have planned. I have recently purchased a new camera and I am making a new films every week. We’ll see you soon!
Today I am launching a new feature of Discover Epcot, Discover Epcot Radio. I will stream new and old park music on DiscoverEpcot.com To listen to this stream all you need is an internet connection and/or a web browser or iTunes. This stream will play 24/7 and will be updated as I get more music. If you have music that you would like to contribute to this project please email me. I can barely wait to bring you the music and atmosphere of being in the park. The stream is up but the music will begin tonight at 8pm eastern standard time. I hope you enjoy.
I have just upgraded my camera to a slightly more professional model. I was shooting almost all of my content on my iPhone 4. It’s nice, but it’s not that great for what I need. Now I will be shooting everything on my Canon T2i. This camera is amazing! I cannot wait to start filming again. In fact my next video is scheduled to be shot on this coming wednesday. I really hope to shoot one video a week, at the most every other week. I am developing a new production schedule and will be bringing you, the viewers, more updates, more frequently. Please stand by!
The Italian Pavilion is beautiful all year long. This is just a peek at the entrance of the country. To fully enjoy this pavilion you need to have lunch here. Pizza and beer are served hot and cold (in that order) and you will not find pizza like this any where else. Ciao!
One thing that you have to keep your eyes open for is a small scenic area of Italy. You can walk right past it and never know it existed. I am speaking of course about the gondola in Italy. Here is a little peak at a beautiful spot that can be missed very easily in Epcot. Next time you’re there with your significant other make sure to get a picture here.
