I like to frequent my local Salvation Army from time to time because they receive antique furniture on the regular. This time they had some Epcot memorabilia. This item is from mission space. It’s a kind of wind up toy and it spins. I cannot figure out if it is limited edition or how valuable it is. Does any one know anything about it? Please leave comments below.
The title says it all. I am currently uploading my first product review to YouTube. I am giving you an in depth look at a mint in package Epcot Center Camera Strap. As soon as it is finished uploading I will post the link on here! Stay tuned!
*UPDATE* The video has finished loading on youtube.
Today is my birthday. I’m at work and I thinking about my adventures over the last 4 years. Where I’ve started, how far I’ve come. I started all of this with a few friends just hanging out in Epcot after 4pm. There have been late nights shooting photos after hours, semi viral videos and dozens of friends I’ve made through my website and twitter.
Although I’m spending my day at work and not the park, I am spending my day reflecting upon all the wonderful times that were and times to come. I’ve a few things shot that I need to get edited and up for you to see so stay tuned as I continue to bring you the best and you continue to Discover Epcot!
I’m am so excited to have completed my collection of Disney animated films. It’s been at least 15 years since I’ve enjoyed one of these classics! I know this isn’t my usual topic of Epcot but these movies are set in the different countries of the World Showcase and I think knowing this enhances the park experience and the film experience.
Starting in Mexico and going clockwise I have “The Three Cabarellos” and “Saludos Amigos” from Mexico. (Is there a Disney movie set in Norway any where?) There’s Mulan and Mulan 2 from China. The Lion King 1, 2, and 1 1/2 from the African Coolpost (Thats a HUGE stretch) Snow White in Germany. Pinocchio is from Italy, NOT Germany. There is some confusion among people. There is Pocahontas and the Princess and the Frog from America. Aladdin is from Morocco-ish, well close enough. It’s debatable if its Iraq or not, but we can place it in the Middle East/North Africa. France is home to the Aristocats, and Ratatouille. The UK has a plethora of films set in it; among those are Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, and 101 Dalmatians just to name a few! We cannot forget Brother Bear and Brother Bear 2 which are set in Canada.
I’m sure I’m leaving out some movies or have my facts wrong(I do that from time to time) but that’s the purpose of my re-education. Now is my chance to relearn all the magic from the beginning. I’m going to watch them all. Mostly when I’m at the gym on a treadmill or bike, or when I’m falling asleep at night.
Please feel free to correct me if I left anything out! What are your favorite Disney movie(s) of all time! Does it sync up with your favorite country at Epcot? Leave a comment below!
Well not mine. I have unleashed my creativity and talent at a wedding of two cast members who recently wed. I am 80% finished with their wedding video-s, plural, and then I will resume the Discover Epcot videos! Hopefully next week so stay tuned and I’ll see you real soon!
Oh and if you’re getting married in Orlando and need a videographer, you know where to reach me.
In all the excitement of getting my things gathered for the start of The Flower and Garden opening day, I left my annual passes at home. I get off work at 4:00 and plan to head there ASAP! I will be filming and posting a video in the following day or two. Stay tuned!
It was going to be an ordinary Sunday morning walking around at the farmers market in downtown Orlando. I happened to get a tip when I arrived that Disney had set up a display for the Flower and Garden Festival at a farmers market. I thought how strange. So I walked around the lake and sure enough there was a crew of about 15 people. Disney was filming a promotional video with a Captain Hook topiary. Costuming, Horticulture, Entertainment, Video Production and Security were present. It was something to take in. No one seemed to notice the camera crew or any Disney employee actually. They filmed an upcoming promotional video for the Flower and Garden Festival that starts March 6th. I don’t know what they are going to use, but here is what went down today at the Farmers Market. This is a Discover Epcot Exclusive!
As I was leaving the park one night I stopped, starred in awe, and snapped this shot with my camera and 50mm lens. Please feel free to download and use it for your personal computer.
This week I was involved in a car crash that totaled my car. I walked away from it with a few injuries. I haven’t been able to update the blog or the YouTube channel. However in the coming days I have some new content coming for you! I’m just trying to get better.
